First 15

Choosing to get started 15-20 minutes earlier than the day's tasks begins can create success for the 24 hours following. Why? Because you've started the day with YOU in mind. I love to grab a silent coffee/tea, pray and reflect. meditate during this time. Establishing your mood certainly sets the tone!

New Chapter: Alone...Lonely

When trading chaos for clarity, I have often found myself alone. Although alone is a state of being, it can feel lonely. Whether initiated or involuntary due to life events, retaining perspective on the "why" will always breathe full meaning into this transition. Often times, this isolations comes because you are set apart and/or choosing peace. The biggest learning curve is being ok with solitude. This is where you will often find growth, strength and greater understanding of your purpose. You will also break unhealthy cycles and forge new relationships with an even greater sense of self; which is a win for everyone around you.

In the mix of life's hustle and bustle, it's so easy to default to meeting demands and we often forget to prioritize and nurture our interests. Taking the time to wine and dine your fine self is an amazing initiative for understanding your being and every stage and age. Living a little starts with enjoying you OWN company! Therapy gets us outside of ourselves to see another perspective, embrace a solution-oriented position and consider ourselves /output regardless of the outcome.

What are you anchored to?! 

Foundation and Stability in what has consistency is the key to unwavering hope, level-heading thinking and emotion management. For me, my relationship with Jesus keeps me centered as I utilized his principles to navigate life and the fullness thereof. This helps my rationality and ability to be consistent within most circumstances. For want seems to heavy, I choose to let him help carry the load.

Delegation

One way or another, we must learned to keep awareness of what is truly OUR responsibility. Releases situation that are beyond your threshold is long overdue. So often, we take on additional stress with the intention of helping another, feelings of self-inflicted obligation or guilt. Regardless of reason, you reserve the right to change the course to create balance in daily life. Creating a stopping point AND relinquishing your contribution is a must when it is redirecting your focus. Give it back, let it go! Your well-being will thank you.

Forgiveness

Unforgiveness is so detrimental in all aspects of life. You may never get the apology you are seeking yet YOU are still required to move forward. You have to ask yourself how valuable wholeness in life is to you, your purpose and your impact in this life. Unforgiveness is meant to cripple, silence and minimize your effectiveness; being the biggest stunner of growth for you and others. Forgiveness IS a choice. It IS a choice that requires commitment to UNCONDITIONAL EFFORT. It is the biggest exercise of self-love. You are deserving of such love!
