Fall Break: First time at Great Wolf Lodge

Let me start by saying fun. fun, fun!!!! We had an absolute blast! Be prepared to get very little sleep and to break a nail! The kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves. From the indoor water park down to the kid friendly bowling, it was a howling good time! There are also arcades, a gym, mini golf and hourly activities for the kids all on-site. We enjoyed the MagiQuest game and were able to get our steps in while playing it. The amount of walking involved is NO joke. We were able to work together as a family to complete levels which was a definite bonding exercise. My husband and I both ran around like 6 year olds diving, sliding, playing...the kids had to tell us "Ok, one more time and that's it!!" Lol, can you believe it?? Talk about roles reversed, ha, ha!

We made out nicely, due to my obsession with saving a coin or seven. Our reservation even came with a $50 daily dining credit; talk about bang for the buck! Join the mailing club to keep up to date and get first dibs on deals. Contact me and I will guide you through it, if help is needed. Biggest tip I can give you: DO NOT ALLOW YOUR KIDS TO GET THE CHIP WRISTBANDS!!! Everything is scanned and billed to the room through the wristband chip. So, if you don't want surprises and have to take out a second mortgage, give them the chip free band and get the chip wristband for adults only. You will thank me, do trust.
